Over the past seven years, #SchoolsNotPrisons has collaborated with over 100+ grassroots organizations and over 50 artists including Miguel, La Santa Cecilia, Common, Jessie Reyez, J. Cole, Vic Mensa, and many others to amplify local campaigns aimed at investing in education over punishment.

We partner with communities hardest hit by mass incarceration to transform the justice system across the country.

Launched in 2016, #SchoolsNotPrisons works to shift public spending from punishment to education, amplifying local campaigns and grassroots organizations at the forefront of ending child incarceration and creating a new vision of safety centered on health, healing, and investing in young people.
